Japan has been experiencing a decline in its birth rate for a number of years of late. Because of this, the importance of quality education is becoming more and more significant. The role of technical colleges bridging the wide gap between high school and society is growing in importance year by year. Our Kawahara technical colleges are taking this responsibility upon itself and exerting every effort to ensure our students get “significant qualifications” which prove their efficiency to immediately make an impact with their chosen career and contribute in today’s ever changing business society. In addition to this we endeavor to also impart upon students communication skills, occupational awareness and high energy to achieve.
Our objective of keeping pace with our constantly changing society and offering a multitude of courses which include internships and teaching practice by experts in site, contributes to our growing reputation of having students who can take on leadership with high degree of motivation and specialty.
Kawahara Gakuen, in its twenty one year history from establishment, has launched more than nine thousand graduates into the working world. This makes us the largest technical college body in Ehime prefecture.

The International Patissier and Boulanger College (IPBC) will be founded in “Gintengai”, the hot spot of mid town Matsuyama City. This college (under application for authorization) will provide students the opportunity to pursue careers in the area of pastry chef.

Ehime Medical Science Institute (EMSI) was founded in April 2007. It is the first medical college in Ehime Prefecture to offer a 4 year course. The 4 year course has been adopted to cope with the advancing medical fields in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Nursing that students need to study from the basic level to the application level.

International Total Beauty College was founded in April 2007 with the target being to make Ehime Prefecture more fashionable. Students are offered a variety of courses in the area of beauty such as Hairdressing, Beautician, Makeup advisor and Esthetician.

Ehime Electronic Business College (EEBC) is the largest technical college in Ehime Prefecture in terms of the variety of courses and subjects offered to students. EEBC is famous for acquiring high qualification levels in fields ranging from Information Technology to Business. 83.3% of students passing the Basic Information Engineer Qualification Test belonged to EEBC.

Ehime Medical and Welfare College (EMWC) provides students the opportunity to work in the Welfare and Education fields. These fields include; Care Workers, Social Workers, Mental Health Welfare Workers, Childcare Workers and Kindergarten Teachers.

At Ehime Ohara Bookkeeping and Officer College (EOBOC), students undertake qualified lessons using the same teaching materials and curriculums used by the famous Ohara Group. EOBOC is proud of its high percentage of students passing its Officer examination. The same high percentage of success is also seen in Licensed Tax Accountant examinations, Accounting examinations, Medical Office Work examinations and PC Operation examinations.

At the International Design and Art College (IDAC) students can learn the fundamentals of designing from the very beginning. They can then learn the balance between techniques and self expression through actual work production activities in order to reach a higher art specialist level. IDAC offers the students the chance to challenge their skills at various competitions and contests. Graduates all aim to acquire professional work opportunities.

AI Pet World College is the only technical college in the pet field in Ehime Prefecture. Students are taught comprehensive techniques and knowledge so as to be able to find employment in the animal related industry.

International Electronic Business College (IEBC) is a technical college located in Niihama City and specializes in the Information and Business field. IEBC is famous for its close relationship with the local corporations who implement special seminars for the IEBC students. These seminars are conducted by specialists of the local companies in Niihama City.
